There are lots of people who don't really feel good about themselves. They are not confident of their looks and body.
You keep calling yourself silly.
You keep calling yourself ugly.
You keep believing that you are not good enough.
When you look in the mirror you just don't like what you see.
The acne;
The stretch marks
The loose skin
The skinny look
The gap between your front teeth…
You keep over analysing your looks, destroying your self-worth.
I wish I could tell you how wonderfully created you are.
I wish I could tell you how dignified you look when you're modest.
How courageous you look when natural;
How fearfully crafted you are;
How wonderfully created you are;
How unique your features are;
Or how you are kind; caring; loving; hospitable; intelligent; unique; special and how you're going to make an impact with that incredible mind of yours.
Why feel ugly?
Why look down on yourself?
Why feel inferior about your looks and body?
Why try to fake things that are not really there?
I can never understand how somebody so unique will consider themselves so common.
How somebody so great will consider themselves so little.
How somebody so special will consider themselves so worthless.
Listen, you are created in the image and likeness of God.
Do you even know what that really means?
It means that you share some of the attributes of God. Wow! we have that privilege.
I hope that when you look at the mirror you will be able to live with what you see. Not feeling bad because you know you have better and greater things to offer the world than just being "pretty".
You're not ugly.
No one is.
We are all just beautiful in our own way.
"I will praise thee for I am fearfully and wonderfully made"
