Alpha Habib Bangura is an education and youth development enthusiast with a vision to empower 200,000 African youths by 2050. Hailing from Sierra Leone, Mr. Bangura has impacted hundreds of young people across the African continent. He served as the first Secretary-General of the Student
Representative Council at the African Leadership University where he is studying BA(Hons) in Global Challenges with a concentration in education and policy. He is a 2017 Wells Mountain Initiative Scholar, and a Co-founder of a Pan-African movement known as Kupambana Afrika in Kigali, Rwanda.

Mr. Bangura has worked with different education and skills development institutions such as
The Visao Foundation, Ashinaga Africa Initiative, African Women in Leadership Organization, Forum for the Development of Young People, Children's Forum Network Sierra Leone, etc. Alpha wants to be remembered as the drop-out who helped transform the education system in Sierra Leone.
