The roles of youths in nation building cannot be over-emphasised in any part of the universe as exemplified not only in the growing participation of youths across every sector of the society but also their roles in pre-colonial Nigeria societies -security, economy, political- which thus, help to maintain stability before colonial adventurism in Africa nay Nigeria.

Youths, a vibrant stage where life-changing decisions are made, is a stage between childhood and adulthood filled with virility, agility and a casual understanding of his immediate surrounding which hitherto becomes a vital tool for nation building -not necessarily a mans only construction but a national development, a constructive process, involving citizens in improving social cohesiveness, economic prosperity and political stability in a country.

The roles of youths towards building a virile nation are all-inclusive and impactful, in all ramifications. With the teeming population of youths in the country coupled with their agility and virility, youths have been participating in economic development for so long either in a small scale business or a large enterprises and also, constituting a sizeable part of the country consumer circle likewise providing visible labour force which therein increases the country's Gross domestic progression (GDP), which would thereby make Nigeria a desired destination for investors.

youths are not only leaders of tomorrow but also a major stakeholder of today, Nigeria politics would remain undecided without the participation of youths who are the manpower of the country's population. The engagement of youths in governance will help to neutralize the effect of the missiles of agitation against gerontocracy -rule by elders, thereby providing a ladder for democratic governance which with the status of the country in Africa -Giant of Africa- will serve as stimulants for other African countries not practicing democracy.

Without being economical with words, the greatest role of any citizen of his country is to get educated. The federal government policy on food security will be a rumped paper in a dustbin without the youths. It is obviously obvious that livestock constitutes high intakes of Nigerians, therefore the need to protect this livestock against epidemics or viruses that would harm man becomes inevitable to ensure a healthy living. Hence, the youths who are therefore well-acquainted and verse in this particular field which thus, would ensure food security much in the way made Nigeria the food basket of the world.

Paddling it further, the importance of science and technology in nation-building is paramount vis a vis the youths who are the drive of this sector. As it is seen in developed countries, the world has gone digital, the passion for advanced technology even without many resources foster Japan rapid developments. The youths being the drive behind this sector will be of great advantage in advancing and building a virile Nigeria constructively.

Also, youths play a vital role in the maintenance of law and protecting the country's territorial integrity as seen in pre-colonial Nigeria societies. Youths are energetic and virile with which the sovereignty of the country, internal and external, can be preserved.
To this end, the role of youths in building a virile Nigeria is an all-around function ranging from economic development, political stability to security amongst others. Therefore, the roles of Nigerian youths in creativity and administration is the future of Nigeria.
