Enable, inspire, influence!

The impact of our activities run far deeper than the eye can see. What is it about leadership that makes it so much harder to define than the attributes so often associated with it?
Charisma, efficiency, intelligence, ambition, inspiration and morality! These deep qualities become intrinsic to the leader over years of personal development accelerated with the catalyst of constructive adversity. The cliché practice makes perfect is no joke. One cannot learn charisma in a classroom any more than one can create initiative in a seminar or find integrity in a book.

Muhammad Ali once said, “Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they’ve been given than explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a declaration. It’s a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.” We all choose our heroes and grapple with the question of leadership through their example. I embarked on a journey to acquire its root principles.

During the recent years I identified within thoughts of my experiences lies the ability to spontaneously put my attention on those choices that brought joy to me, and joy to others. I have begun to nourish personal and the social skills that sculpted my personality that carefully crafted inherent and intangible human elements, my actions and decisions changed not only my life but those I have lead Thus, the consequences of the manner in which I executed my duties will endure far into the future.

“Colorfully labeled lesson plans, Bratty, mischievous kids, little high fives" from my Toddling days... . I vividly remember my school life with my little classmates frolicking around, advances to their blistering hands, wobbling legs, copious amounts of questions, and ends with jumping high fives, cheery faces, and possibly a few hugs to our affectionate teachers. My teachers’ vibrant spirits and demand for patience over the years motivated me to never lose liveliness or the desire to learn.

Engaging me deeply was my naive eagerness to traverse the chasm dividing boy from man. I wholeheartedly look forward to becoming involved for awakening the Society towards overall development. It is an endeavor that allows me to test my limits in igniting scientific temper and inculcating human values to channelize talents, voice opinions and emerge as a leader and, moreover, a responsible citizen.

I have begun to experience from doing 'selfless acts', feeling an immense joy that results in helping others just for the sake of wanting someone to be happy. This is the only path for achieving “everlasting happiness!' I desire to work in solidarity with impoverished communities, to delve into the leadership activities and make a difference in the world through knowledge, selfless service and humility.

As I have begun to dive headlong into the leadership unknown, and emerge as a better leader which is the need of the hour. The uncertainty of time and the randomness of space will construct a world which cannot be comprehended. I take up this world as challenge and redefine it as our realm. A realm for being the better, the best and the above.
